The Louisiana Workforce Commission and its local offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, for the Thanksgiving holiday and Acadian Day. All automated services, including HiRE and the automated telephone line at 1-866-783-5567, are available 24/7 to file unemployment claims. LWC offices will reopen for business on Monday, Nov. 30.
The Job 1 Office in New Orleans is closed Tuesday, Nov. 24. Those needing assistance are encouraged to visit the Metairie office.
